It's my first blog of 2009! First, my New Year's Resolution was officially made at three seconds after midnight at the arrival of the New Year (Central Time). My resolution: To make NO resolution. That way, I don't have to worry about breaking it later because it's already broken! And, for the seventeenth year in a row, I broke my resolution faster than anyone else on Earth! WOO-HOO!!! Now, on a slightly more serious note. -=SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT=- As some of you may have noticed, I write my own HTML. That's also why I don't have a link to my email on here. But soon, I'll be starting teaching classes in basic HTML. They'll be $10/person, minimum 10 people, for a 2-3 hour class. Look for signs up around town. Now, for a very serious note. All this because the economy is [multiple expletives deleted]. But Dubya is going bye-bye in eight days, so things are looking up! If you analyze how Bush has handled the economy, you'll see the same pattern. He twice send refund checks to homes that were supposed to be spent, but more than a few shoved it in their savings accounts, he's authorized countless trillions for bailouts, and he's dragged out two wars that could have been over with in no time, answering the call to end it with more war spending. In other words, he's done nothing but throw money at problems, and it hasn't worked. The worst, in my opinion, is that he did a bailout for the banks, when giving it to homeowners with failing mortgages would have let them pay the banks, anyway. Meanwhile, many of the foreclosures that would have been avoided are still happening. Fortunately, Obama has shown an understanding of these things, and I can't wait for my Bye-Bye Bush Bash!
